LJMU is one of the leading research-active contemporary institutions in the UK. We have a growing reputation for excellence in research with a growing number of early career research-active staff.

In order to support our growing research profile, we have a small number of pre-paid article processing charges (APCs) available to allow researchers to publish in IEEEs open access journals. These are limited so if you wish to make use of one of these APCs please contact Cath Dishman, Open Access and Digital Scholarship Librarian, c.l.dishman@ljmu.ac.uk to check availability.

Upon completion of the copyright agreement, UKRI funded authors will automatically obtain a permission to apply the CC BY license to their accepted manuscript. To further meet the Route 2 requirements, the submissions should include the following text in the funding acknowledgement section of the manuscript and any cover note accompanying the submission:
For the purpose of open access, the author(s) has applied a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license to any Accepted Manuscript version arising
